What is it and what is it for?
A VMC system (Controlled Mechanical Ventilation) is an air recirculation system.
It is used in environments where it is necessary to guarantee a continuous exchange of air and an air filtering process, including insulated residential buildings with a thermal coat.
How does it work?
There are various types of VMC but the basic operation is the same:
The exhausted air of the indoor environments is extracted while other air that arrives from the outside, rich in oxygen, is introduced into the premises. Thus there is a continuous exchange of air, without the need to open the doors and windows.
In addition, the air that passes through the VMC system is filtered, thus preventing pollen and fine dust from entering the rooms.
Furthermore, the air that enters the home is dehumidified and brought to a temperature similar to the present one, thus keeping the environment more comfortable and avoiding energy waste.
Installing a CMV system in a home therefore offers numerous advantages and benefits, especially in terms of well-being and energy savings.
The system is installed completely in the false ceiling, occupying limited space.
Thanks to the thickness of only 24 cm and its silence, you won't notice its presence!
